Upon launch, FlightMath immediately quits back to the Finder. The quit may or may not be accompanied by a beep.

There are two possible reasons for this problem:
- The FlightMath preferences file in your Preferences folder was created on a PowerPC computer, and you're attempting to use it now on a 680x0 computer, or vice versa.
- You're attempting to run FlightMath from a volume other than your startup volume.

Both problems are known bugs in version 1.0 that were corrected in version 1.1. Therefore, the recommended course of action is to upgrade to FlightMath 1.1 or later.
