FlightMath
Calculating Density Altitude Above 110° F (43° C) with v1.1

Manifestation

FlightMath 1.1's temperature slider stops at 110° F (43° C).

Discussion

FlightMath 1.1 was developed in the cooler Ohio climate, and the thought of temperatures reaching above 110° F was unthinkable to the developers. Therefore, the density altitude calculator only allows for up to 110° F (43° C).

Solution

FlightMath 2.0 has support for temperatures >110° F; therefore, the recommended course of action is to upgrade to version 2.0 or later. Note that FlightMath 2.0 requires Mac OS X 10.0 or later.
