SuperLock Pro
Crash or Freeze After "Activating Security"

Manifestation

As it's "Activating Security..." window collapses, or immediately afterward, Client crashes or freezes. You are running SuperLock Pro version 4.5 or 4.5.1 and have Kaleidoscope installed.

Discussion

This problem is caused by a three-way incompatibility/set of bugs involving the Mac OS, Kaleidoscope, and SuperLock Pro. The problem only occurs with certain Kaleidoscope schemes.

Solution

A temporary solution is to uninstall Kaleidoscope or to select a scheme (through trial and error) which does not cause the problem to manifest itself. A work-around will be included in a future version of SuperLock Pro.
