Weather

If you have an Internet connection, you can have FlightMath automatically download weather information as reported by NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) for any airport that has an ICAO code. Simply type in the four-letter code in the text area labeled "ICAO Identifier" and click on "Get Weather". If the download was successful, the information for the airport will be filled in. You can then import this data into the Density Altitude tab pane.

What is an ICAO code?

Four-letter ICAO codes have been assigned to many airports all over the world. In the United States, the ICAO code is obtained by taking the normal airport code and appending a "K" in front of it. For instance, Phoenix Skyharbor is PHX, and its ICAO code is KPHX. International codes can be different, however, and if you need to look it up, you may find it here.
